Brett H. Tennis, CPA provides strategic leadership to Saxton & Stump, its affiliates, and partners, directing the growth and development of each enterprise. He serves as a strategic advisor to the firm’s attorneys and consultants regarding various matters and business development. Brett identifies opportunities, oversees the completion of critical projects, and ensures each initiative provides a differentiating level of service to clients.
Throughout his career, Brett has collaborated with businesses to strategize and has recommended solutions that provide growth and prosperity. He has decades of experience as a principal with Walz Group, an established accounting firm, where he served as president for 12 years. During that time, he provided business and financial services to the live entertainment, construction, manufacturing, professional services, and non-profit industries.
In the community, Brett has served as treasurer on numerous boards including the Lititz Regional Community Development Corporation and the Warwick Education Foundation where he also previously served as treasurer. He recently served as team captain for Recovery Lancaster Team 1 Business funding. In this role, he led a team of civic leaders and professionals to develop the grant program which ultimately issued over $40,000,000 of grants to Lancaster County Businesses during the pandemic. He is also the Committee Chair for the Pennsylvania Dutch Council Boy Scouts of America’s Annual Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner.
